Receiving the SNU Global Scholarship for a period of one year has been the motivation that has made me work harder in pursuit of academic excellence. This has been the guiding force for me to work hard so as to be able to renew the scholarship for the next term as well and has made me more responsible towards my academic goals. It has instilled in me a sense of security and taken away the added stress of finances of my studies. It has also boosted my confidence and made me believe that hard work pays off. I am grateful for having received this opportunity.

Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude to SNU and OIA for giving me this precious opportunity. It is an unbelievable dream for me. I am very honored to have been selected as one of the recipients of AUNS. I have been learning lots of things in this new environment. In only one year not only my Korean skills but also my knowledge of different cultures has improved and expanded greatly. Because of this scholarship I can improve myself, communicate with Korean people, teachers, and international classmates in Korean everyday, and learn about Korean society through news on my own.

The SNU Global Scholarship has made my life a lot happier. I can use my time for studying and enjoying my experience in Korea now that I no longer have sleepless nights over money and I do not have to work side jobs anymore. I am extremely grateful to SNU for providing me with the chance to enjoy my studies the way that every student should: by having fun.

I would like to express my deep sense of gratitude to AUNS, SNU LEI and OIA for giving me an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pursue my academic study in Korea without any financial burdens. Thanks to this golden chance, I have not only improved my Korean significantly through interesting lectures, but also broadened my understanding of Korean Culture with nummerous extra-curricular activities such as cooking, traditional music instruments playing, etc.
