Silk-road Scholarship

I am sincerely happy to have been selected as the recipient of the Silk-road scholarship. My educational pursuits would not be possible without support from scholarship, so now I'll do my best to reach my fullest personal and academic potential. Thank you for enabling this opportunity!

One of the most famous wise sayings Mongolians tell their descendants might be an old adage “If you do your best, your fate strives for it” which is equivalent to an English proverb “Where there is a will, there is a way”. It has been a core of my principles in this life. Since the moment I was selected as one of award recipients of the Silk-road Scholarship, I have come to fully realize the philosophy of this saying. Although there was no need to say how hard it is to study abroad in foreign language, I felt joy of achievement after earning my master’s degree in South Korea. Thus, currently I have been studying at Seoul National University thanks to the generous support of this prestigious scholarship. To study at the top university of South Korea is truly an honor for all, specifically for me who is from totally different background grown up in a nomadic herder’s family in the vast steppe of Mongolia. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity which allows me to concentrate on my research and study. I will always try my best!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support of the Silk-road Scholarship. As one of 2017 year’s recipients, I’m grateful for the opportunities this scholarship provided me. I rely on financial aid to help finance my education. Receiving this scholarship help reduce my financial burdens and provide assistance for me as I continue pursuing my education. Your financial generosity has allowed me to be one step closer to my goal.

"Be confident and the opportunity will come to you". The Silk-road scholarship has given me a very good chance of being able to study at the most prestigious Korean university - Seoul National University. At the moment, I am working hard and trying to achieve the best results in Business school.
