1st International Summer School & Conference on Artificial Intelligence (ISSCAI)

July 1-7, 2024 St. Petersburg, Russia- Call for Papers: ISSCAI invites proposals for participation.
- Organization:
Co-organized by the Department of Informatics and the Laboratory of Social & Cognitive Informatics (SCILa) of HSE University (St. Petersburg campus).
Scope includes topics such as natural language processing, speech recognition, deep learning, reinforcement learning, generative AI, human-machine collaborative systems, and social robots.
Working language: English, with some courses offered in Russian.- Mission:
Introduce students to the latest developments in artificial intelligence.
Create an environment for informal contacts between scientists, students, and industry professionals.- Target Audience:
Advanced graduate and PhD students, academic and industrial researchers, and developers.
Expected 50-70 participants selected based on poster proposals and resumes.- Participation:
Free of charge.
Limited number of grants partially covering travel for qualified Russian students.
Up to 20 near-free places in HSE dorm for strong applicants.
Candidates selected based on application quality and short papers.
Basic knowledge of Python and machine learning foundations expected.- Application:

Short papers describe early-stage, ongoing, or completed research/development projects in English.
