Dear Study Abroad Partner,
I'm writing from our Bristol Summer team to let you know about our exciting and varied 2024 summer school provision at the University of Bristol!
We've opened applications for the following accredited 2024 undergraduate summer programmes and all the information, including dates and how to apply, can be found on our web pages:
- Archaeology Field School
- Arts, Activism & Social Justice
- Biomedical Sciences Lab
- Black Humanities
- Environmental Humanities
- Innovation & Entrepreneurship
- Shakespeare in Performance
These programmes are typically three weeks full-time and offer 10 University of Bristol/UK credits (roughly equivalent to 5 ECTS or 3 US credits) upon successful completion.
In addition, students can register their interest in our 6-week STEM Research Projects summer programme, which carries 20 University of Bristol/UK credits (roughly equivalent to 10 ECTS or 6 US credits). We'll be publishing full details of the programme and our 2024 research projects in January.

We'd love to welcome your students on our summer schools and would be delighted if you could make our 2024 summer programmes visible on your student platforms, please. This could simply be an informal arrangement, or it can be formalised through either a fee-paying addendum to our current partner agreement or a new, separate agreement with us at Global Summer.
If we can provide further information or answer any queries from you or your students, please don't hesitate to get in touch at bristol-summer@bristol.ac.uk.
