2021 SNU Online International Summer Program (ISP): Online Application is Currently Open to Overseas University Students

 

SNU Office of International Affairs (SNU OIA) is more than delighted to announce that in the coming summer, SNU ISP will come back online, where both SNU and overseas university's international students can learn and mingle together in a virtual environment. 

Online application for non-SNU, international students is now open at https://summer.snu.ac.kr .


▶ What is new about 2021 Online ISP?

  - All courses and activities are held online.

  - Along with 9 selected, traditional ISP elective courses taught by SNU's full-time faculty, 13 regular major courses that are normally part of SNU's regular curriculum are taught by renowned international scholars at overseas universities. SNU students will gain regular major or elective credits depending on their current major information, and non-SNU international students may transfer the credits to the home university program.   - SNU OIA will organize virtual exchange activities between SNU students and international students (buddy, language tandem, etc.). (Read more)

  - Discounted tuition will apply for Online ISP and scholarship opportunities are available for Korean/East Asian Studies major students. (Read more)

  * Please note that on-campus housing, field trips, and visa assistance for students will not be provided for Online ISP.

▶ Important Dates

  - Online application for non-SNU, international students opens from 11 March to 28 May through https://summer.snu.ac.kr .

  - Course registration for 10 selected ISP elective courses is open for international students until 28 May (first-come, first-served). SNU students will join the course registration for the remaining quota from May 13.

  - Course information for 14 regular major courses will be updated by early May and its registration will be open to both SNU and international students from May 13. (first-come, first-served).

  - Online ISP runs from 22 June to 2 August, while class dates vary by course.
