We are pleased to announce the call for Daesang Asia Scholarship application of Fall 2020. The Daesang Asia Scholarship Program is jointly funded by Daesang Cultural Foundation, established in Fall 2020.
1. About Daesang Foundation
○ Daesang foundation is founded by Daesang Company. Daesang is Korea’s leading
general food company and established its global branch, such as Miwon Vietnam and
Duck viet.
2. Purpose of Scholarship
○ For supporting Asian students to study in Korea, Daesang aims to cultivate global leaders who have knowledge in Korean economy, social and culture. Thereby to build global network
3. Eligible Applicants
○ Vietnamese students who have admission to Seoul National University’s Graduate school for 2020 fall semester
4. Total Candidates to be Selected
○ Total 4 persons
- Liberal Arts and Social Science majors : 2 Persons
- Natural Science and Engineering majors : 2 Persons
5. Amount of Scholarship & Types
○ Liberal Arts and Social Science majors : Total 19,000,000 KRW per year)
- Categories: Tuition Fees - 7,000,000 KRW, Living allowance -12,000,000 KRW
○ Natural Science and Engineering majors: 20,000,000 KRW per year
- Categories: Tuition Fees - 8,000,000 KRW, Living allowance -12,000,000 KRW
○ If it’s first visit to Korea, we support 500,000 KRW for airfare
6. Support Period
○ Master's degree program : 2 years
○ Combined master’s and doctorate, Doctoral degree program : 3 years

Applications must be submitted to Office of International Affairs no later than March 27(Fri), 2020, 18:00(Stamped before the deadline for submission would be valid). Please note that applying late and the late arrival of applications will not be considered under any circumstances.

If you have difficulties to send required 'document's by post, please email the scanned 'document's to intlscholarship@snu.ac.kr by the deadline. About 2 weeks after the admission announcement for new graduates from June 5 to June 19, mail original 'document's to the designated address above. The scholarship application will be cancelled if the original 'document's are not submitted in time.
