The United Nations Operations and Crisis Centre’s Research and Liaison Unit and Prevention team are looking for interns to join our teams in 2025 and early 2026.
Students studying or interested with social science and public policy who have excellent research as well as good data-analytics and visualization skills are welcome to apply. Students from degrees focused on data analytics in other disciplines who have good international relations knowledge may also be interested in this post. The unpaid internship provides students an opportunity to support the preparation of data-driven, analytical, visual briefing materials for senior UN leadership. The full-time internship can be undertaken in New York or, in some cases, by remote.

This opening serves to create a pool of interested candidates for the remainder of 2025 and early 2026. Candidates will be recruited on a rolling basis for several timeframes and positions based on availabilities indicated by the applicants. The first posts available from June/July onwards.
