Dear Partners,

 

 

We are pleased to let you know that the Postgraduate Conference on Interdisciplinary Learning will be held on 26-27 March 2021 in Lingnan University, Hong Kong. The theme of the conference is Re-Imagining Postgraduate Studies in the 21st Century and Beyond. The event is organised by the School of Graduate Studies of Lingnan University and supported by the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong.

 

The conference will offer a multidisciplinary platform for students to enhance the theoretical and methodological aspects of their research as well as presentation skills. We welcome proposals relating to Social Sciences (broadly defined to include those in health research and the built environment, etc), Business, and Arts. Proposals relating to big data and modern technologies are also strongly encouraged.

 

The intended presentation can be a completed project or a research agenda. The proposal can focus on any or a combination of these thematic areas:

 

○ Theoretical discourse

Methodological reflections

Empirical research

Literature review and research agenda

Comparative research

 

The Postgraduate Conference will be held in hybrid mode. Students who are not in Hong Kong or prefer not to join the conference physically can participate virtually. Students can choose to present their work either orally or via a poster. 

 

Students who are interested in participating in the conference as presenters must submit an abstract of about 250 words by 27 February 2021 for consideration. Those who would like to attend the conference without presenting are also welcome.
