 17th AUN and 6th ASEAN+3 Educational Forum & Young Speaker

 

 

On behalf of the ASEAN University Network and National University of Singapore, we would like to invite you to the 17th AUN and 6th ASEAN+3 Educational Forum & Young Speakers' Contest 2017 at National University of Singapore, Singapore on May 22-26, 2017.

 

The Educational Forum & Young Speakers' Contest is an annual youth activity, which allows youth delegates from ASEAN+3 countries to discuss and voice out their opinions on issues that are relevant to the assigned themes each year. For more details, please refer to the attached 'document's.

 

The Important notes appear below are the theme of the event and the topics for student representatives at 1) the Educational Forum and 2) Young Speakers' Contest:    

 

1. Important notes:

 

Theme: ASEAN+3 in an Era of Global Uncertainty: Responses and Optimism

 

Topic for Ed Forum (country position paper): What is your country policy in response to the global uncertainty and its challenges?

 

Topic for YSC (essay): What is your response to the global uncertainty and its challenges? [individually, collectively, regionally]

Airfare: own expense (50 % of airfare reimbursement will be provided from Office of International Affairs)

Accommodation, local transportation & meals (during the Forum & Cotest): arranged by NUS

Travel Insurance, Other cots: own expense
