2025 University of Bern Summer Schools
The University of Bern is offering two exciting Summer School programs in August 2025. These programs provide an excellent opportunity for students to engage in academic development while experiencing the beautiful Swiss landscape and fostering global connections. Below are the details of the two summer school programs:
1. International Summer School on Climate Change Research (4 - 15 August 2025)
- Target Audience: Bachelor’s students
- Program Content: Students will explore climate science through lectures, hands-on workshops, and a climate negotiation simulation. A special highlight includes a field trip to the Jungfraujoch High Altitude Research Station to witness the impacts of climate change firsthand.

2. International Summer School on Religious Conflicts and Coping Strategies (25 - 29 August 2025)
- Target Audience: Bachelor’s and Master’s students
- Program Content: This Summer School focuses on analyzing the role of religion in conflicts and applying a model to evaluate coping strategies through case studies and workshops. Activities include keynote lectures, a visit to the "House of Religions," and a final seminar with student presentations.
